Data Needs for Astrochemistry

Astrophysical Chemistry Group meeting

Registration and abstract submission by 30 May

The Chemistry Department of the University of Sussex will host the 2014 Astrophysical Chemistry Group of the RSC/RAS meeting, entitled "Data Needs for Astrochemistry". The University of Sussex, in Falmer, located near Brighton on England's south coast, is within easy reach of London's Gatwick airport. Interested participants are invited to register attendance at the meeting, and to submit abstracts for talks and posters in all areas of astrochemistry (observations, modeling, theory and experimental), in connection with the theme.


Registration and abstract submission Please use this form to register your attendance at the meeting and submit your abstract. ABSTRACTS MUST BE SUBMITTED ON OR BEFORE 30 MAY.

Registration fee The registration fee for the meeting is £30, payable in cash or cheque at the meeting itself. Lunch is included.

Bursaries Bursaries of up to £100 are available for Early Career Researchers (students & postdocs) who are presenting at the meeting. Membership of the Astrophysical Chemistry Group is required, but membership can be arranged on the day. Receipts are necessary for reimbursement. If you would like to apply for a bursary, please indicate this on the registration form.

University of Sussex campus
Location, travel and accommodation

Location The meeting will be held in Room 1A6 in the Pevensey I Building at the University of Sussex in Falmer. A PDF map of the campus is available here (building 52).

Travel The University of Sussex can be found in Falmer, a short distance along the coast from Brighton, and can be reached by bus or train from Brighton itself, with further details available at the University website. Brighton can be reached by train from London and Gatwick Airport.

Accommodation Unfortunately we cannot organise accommodation for this conference, however there are many hotels in Brighton, some of which are recommended by the University of Sussex.

Visas Please contact us as soon as possible if you need an invitation letter for visa purposes.
