We have been made aware that as of 14 Feb 2019 there is an issue that there appear to be “no” dates available and “no” rooms available on the Jesus College Booking Site. We have been in touch with Jesus College to highlight this and have asked for a resolution to the situation. We will post here as soon as booking of rooms can be resumed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but unfortunately this issue is outside of our control.
Rooms have been reserved and are available within Jesus College. Sufficient rooms have been reserved at special rates for IAU S350 delegates, on a Bed & Breakfast basis, such that all delegates can be accommodated on the same site as the conference activities. We hope that this will promote networking and interaction, and enable attendees to truly experience the Cambridge environment.
Accommodation must be booked directly with Jesus College.
If guests enter the promotional code IAU144, when prompted on the booking page, they can see all of the accommodation types available for booking, the cost, information about the room, and photographs. Details of the currently available rooms are summarised below.
We have managed to secure a number of twin rooms, suitable for sharing (with en-suite bathroom), and would particularly encourage students and early-career delegates to take advantage of this option. However these rooms must be booked (and paid for) – by the pair wishing to share – AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, and must be occupied for the same period.
If you do not know whom to “room” with, you can enter your information here and we will provide you with name(s) and email(s) of other individuals (of the same sex) looking to share a room from Sunday 14 April– Friday 19 April inclusive. It will be up to you to make contact and book the room. Please let us know, if you are no longer searching for a “room mate.” Please note that by completing the form you are also agreeing for your name and email address to be passed onto possible roommates (of the same sex). However, the organisers cannot guarantee that roommates can be found.

Delegates are required to pay Jesus College Cambridge directly for their rooms and are responsible for full payment. Rooms are bookable on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rooms are available for check-in from Saturday 13 April 2019, until check-out on Monday 22 April 2019, but may be booked for any period in this time. This will enable delegates requiring additional nights for travel purposes to benefit from the lower rates, or indeed this will enable you to extend your stay in Cambridge, before and/or after the meeting.
Please note that the rooms and special rates are ONLY available to delegates until 30 March 2019. The rooms will go on general public release from 1 April. Delegates may still be able to book them then, but the full public rates will apply and accommodation is not guaranteed.
Please note:- We recommend the on-site accommodation, as all accommodation in Cambridge is expensive and fills quickly, particularly in the Easter Holidays when the conference is held. Of course delegates are not obliged to book on-site, and may locate their own accommodation through the multitude of well-known internet sites.
